Toastmasters helps build competence in communication so that members gain confidence to lead others. Brampton resident Roger Caesar is a prime example. He has competed in the Semi-Final of the World Championships of Public speaking for the past 2 years.
In this webisode, Dennis Bartel, Public Relations Manger District 86 Toastmasters, discusses with Michael Charbon the benefits of joining one of the 12 clubs that currently operate in Brampton.
Founded in 1924, Toastmasters International has 345,000 members in 15,900 clubs spread over 142 countries worldwide. Brampton’s chapter was started in 1957 and recently celebrated it’s 60th year anniversary.  The Brampton chapter also contributes to mentoring young people in Brampton and building future leaders of tomorrow.
Note: Michael Charbon mistakenly states that Roger Caesar is a World Champion, Mr Caesar continues to attempt that feat, but he has reached the Semi-Finals of the World Championships.
