The Gregg Zaun Foundation will be holding its 5th annual Golf & Poker Classic on August 22nd at Brampton’s Turnberry Golf Club. All proceeds from this event will be in support of Wounded Warriors Canada, which supports Canada’s injured and ill armed forces members, veterans, first responders as well as their families.
Gregg Zaun is a former catcher for the Toronto Blue Jays and is currently a Sportsnet baseball analyst on almost all of the Blue Jay games over the past few years. Many compare him to Don Cherry with his colourful and eccentric wardrobe and often controversial commentary. Through his foundation, Gregg raises money for Kids Help Phone, Right To Play, and Sick Kids Research Centre to name a few.
The event will be full of celebrity guests, giveaways, a live and silent auction as well as food and beverages. Confirmed guests include:
